7th National Tong-il Moo-Do Championship 2021 at Telangana

Good Morning and Wish You Very Happy New Year!

I am glad to inform you that 7th National Tong-il Moo-Do  Championship 2021 at Telangana 24th – 26 December was Grand Successfully Completed.

Pride of India Sh. Ravi Kumar Dahiya (2020  Tokyo Olympic Silver Medalist, MAJOR Dhyan Chand Khel Ratana Awardee, & Assistant Director of Education Sports Government of NCT of Delhi inaugurated the Championship as a Chief Guest.

Sh. K.R. Kishore, IAS (Rtd.) Govt of India joined as Special Guest.

Sh. Venkateshwar Reddy, Chairman Sports Authority of Telangana Government and Sh. P.V.R.K. Murthy, Chairman, Meluha International School, Gandipet, Telangana, Hyderabad joined as Guest of Honour.

Sh. Ravi Kumar Dahiya and other Guests appreciated The 7th National Tong-il Moo-Do Championship and motivated all of us to Achieve Success in Life.

450 students from 15 different States of India participated in the Grand Event.

Referee seminar was also organized which was attended 35 Referees of different states.

During Championship we had organized General Body Meeting Tong-il Moo-Do Federation, India. During this meeting Election of Tong-il Moo-Do Federation, India was conducted. It was unanimously agreed to continue the old executive committee and some new members of different states (Telangana, Odisha, Assam, J&K, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Delhi) are also co-opted in the Tong-il Moo-Do Federation, India.

For the expansion of Tong-il Moo-Do game, it was decided to hold training seminars in all the states of India. For conduct these trainings following Team is appointed:

a.   Master Mukul Choudhary, Technical Director, Tong-il Moo-Do Federation, India.

b.  Master Dharmeswar Haloi, North-East Zone Director, Tong-il Moo-Do Federation, India.

It was also decided to do registration of players from all over India till 31st Jan 2022 Free of Cost.

It was decided to provide Color Belt and National Black Belt for promotion of players/ coaches.

Following tentative program are fixed in 2022-23 to be organized for promotion of Tong-il Moo-Do Game.

a.   Open National Championship in Madhya Pradesh.

b.  National Championship in Assam.

c.   Federation Cup Jammu & Kashmir.

d.  State Technical Seminar in Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Assam.

e.   Participation in WMC National Championship organized by National Martial Art Sports Federation of India.

We are very thankful to each and every member of our TONG – IL MOO – DO Family and our Chief Guest Sh. Ravi Kumar Dahiya for making this event grand successful.

We hope to have a bright future for all the players and Members of TONG – IL MOO – DO FEDERATION, INDIA.
