Convention and TIMD National Competition – CAMBODIA

cambodia_news_2

It was very significant for Cambodia TIMD to hold the Convention and Tong-Il Moo-Do national competition on July 25- 26, 2015 after being accepted as the member of Olympic Committee of Cambodia prior to SEA(South East Asia) Games which will be hosted by Cambodian government in 2023. 60 participants and more than 20 staff attended, worked together and brought the success of this event. H.E Chey Chap , Advisor to the Royal Government of Cambodia and President of Cambodia TIMD appreciated TIMD for the education of the youth for physical development and more importantly spiritual development. He encouraged all the participants to develop our heart and continue practicing TIMD.

This time even though we applied the rule of Shoto-kan Karate in free sparring since Cambodia TIMD members need education for TIMD rules and training based upon the rules, they followed some parts of TIMD rules.

All the participants made the new determination to hold World TIMD Tournament in Cambodia soon, and make TIMD as the part of SEA Games in 2023.

I would like to appreciate National Leader of Cambodia FFWPU and Secretary General of Cambodia TIMD, Chamroeun Sophal for his full investment for this event, Dr. Seuk for his vision, and whole hearted support and Mr. Ittetsu Aoki for his financial support for this event in Cambodia.
