Tong-Il Moo-Do has officially recognized by Macao Government

After several years of trying putting Tong-Il Moo-Do in legality, on December 11, 2003 it has been recognized by Macao Government. Macao like any other parts of Mainland China has been a home of many ancient martial arts. And also since Macao has been considered a get way to the motherland, many modern martial arts find its way of settlement in this small territory. To set up Tong-Il Moo-Do in these famous martial arts filled environment has been a challenging one. However, with the right purpose and direction, this Martial Art finds its way of being accepted as one new important club with a noble purpose.

In this small place perhaps not so many know nor visited this Macao which composed of 3 tiny island with approximately 650,000 population of 95% Chinese , 7% Portuguese and 3% from other various nationals. Let may say a few things about this place . Macao in itself is a Country under Portuguese colony from 14th century until the handover to China on Dec. 21, 2000. It is located near Delta Pearl River of China and an hour by Ferry Boat from Hong Kong. It has its own International Airport also. The area if I am not mistaken is around 42 sq. km. very small. That is why many called Macao an Archipelago of Mainland China. Chinese, Portuguese and English are widely spoken in many places.

So far Tong-Il Moo-Do produced 1 black belts, 1 brown-black stripe, 4 browns and Several lower belts. All of them are purely no background of any martial art and most are dedicated , loving and young students of Chinese origin.

This year goal , is to go into universities and high schools . Already several key people has been contacted for this purpose with constant follow -up the plan would be materialized.
