Dear beloved members of the Tong-Il Moo-Do family, As we welcome the new year, I would like to share my heart with you from the position of the founder. Tong-Il Moo-Do did not
begin merely from human ideas or enthusiasm. It was established in accordance with the command of the True Parents, as a path to put into practice on this earth and the will of our Heavenly Parent.
From its very beginning until today, this path has continued only because of the pro found love and guidance of our Heavenly Parent and the True Parents, who have labored first in places unseen. Before their precious devotion and sacrifice, I bow my head once again in deep gratitude as the founder.
For the past 46 years, centered on the heart and direction of the True Parents, I have led Tong-Il Moo-Do while passing through countless trials and hardships. There were times when the path ahead seemed completely unclear, and times when I stood amid severe circumstances and misunderstanding. Yet in every single moment, the hands of our Heavenly Parent and the True Parents were with us, and through their guidance, Tong-Il Moo-Do has been able to lay the global foundation it stands upon today.
In particular, the past year was by no means an easy time for the Unification Movement as a whole. Amid internal and external challenges and various limitations, our faith and determination were tested. Even so, under the protection of our Heavenly Parent and the True Parents, we did not waver. Rather, we were able to stand even more firmly and to take deeper root in the original purpose of Tong-Il Moo-Do.
What fills me with the deepest gratitude is that, even in the midst of such difficulties, Tong-Il Moo-Do has been flourishing with remarkable vitality in many parts of the world. Across continents, nations, and cultures, this precious growth has been made possible because members and leaders everywhere have faithfully protected and upheld Tong-Il Moo-Do in their own places.
To the leaders throughout the world who have supported Tong-Il Moo-Do both spiritually and materially over these many years, I offer my heartfelt thanks with the full sincerity of a founder. Each act of devotion, each sacrifice, and every unseen effort you have made has built the Tong-Il Moo-Do we see today. The 40-Day Tong-Il Moo-Do Training, to be held from February 1 to March 13, will be a most precious and significant period to once again stand the roots of Tong-Il Moo-Do upright before Heaven and to set the direction for the year 2026. Through this training, I sincerely hope that 2026 will be recorded in our history as a year of remarkable growth and advancement for Tong-Il Moo-Do.
For this purpose, I humbly ask for your deeper devotion, prayers, and unity of heart. Even one quiet prayer, even one unspoken offering of sincerity, becomes the greatest strength before Heaven. As we enter this new year, I pray that the peace of our Heavenly Parent and the guidance of the True Parents will always be with you in your lives and in your training. With the hope that the original spirit of Tong-Il Moo-Do will be preserved to the very end, I offer this New Year’s message with gratitude. Thank you always.
