MARTIAL ARTS SEMINAR

In the continuation of the program of activity 2017, the World Federation of Tong Il Moo Do Chapter
Congo Brazzaville organized on Saturday 1 April 2017 a Seminar of martial arts, for Peace and Morality
in the middle of Young athletes at the headquarters National Federation of Families for World Peace
and Unification in the capital of the country in Brazzaville from 09:30 to 14:20.
The ceremony was coordinated by the national instructor of Tong IL Moo Do (MOUELET Wilfrid).
There were 50 participants, including: The Deputy National Leader of the FFPMU-CONGO (PWATY
Kelly), Secretary General of the FFPMU- CONGO (MOUANDA Achille), TIMD Brazzaville (BOUKASSA
Junior), TIMD Ouesso (MOMBO Darcy), TIMD Brazzaville Departmental Director of Testimony and
Education (MBAA LEPE), 11 black belts from several disciplines as well as their athletes (Judo, Tae
Kwo Do, Tai Jitsu, Kung Fu, Boxing) so the total participation of 4 disciplines from 7 different
clubs.
Conduct of the Seminar:
The ceremony began with an overall meditation followed by the master of ceremony
(OUAMITABANTOU Merit) SG of TIMD Brazzaville, presented the program of the seminar and
introduced the Deputy National leader of the FFPMU-CONGO (PWATY KELLY) for the word of
circumstance; “He gave a general view of the Organizations of the Unification Movement and spoke of
the link between the Federation of Families and the Federation of Tong Il Moo Do,
Subsequently the Secretary General of the FMTIMD-CONGO (KASONGO Yannick) presented the
general view of the martial arts; “The objective was to show the different athletes that all the martial arts
have a common point” the Do = the way “and that the Tong Il Moo Do comes to unite them all”.
The second conference was presented by the national instructor (MOUELET Wilfrid): “It was based on

that exist in the middle of the world Martial arts in particular in our clubs and
In our daily lives, and then he gave solutions to these conflicts by relying on the 7 actions that lead to
morality:
1- PERSEVERANCE: A step forward depends on the previous one
2- THE SIMPLICITY: Simplicity is the Way (DO) observe the little things daily and life will illuminate your
inner gaze
3. WISDOM: Too much attachment to phenomena is a cause of illusion
4- THE GOOD: Goodness is not at the end of the way, it must be in oneself
5- HUMILITY: Of all things one must neither run after nor want to escape
6- SINCERITY: Not to say what is false is the basis of all just action
7- GENEROSITY: Generosity is like the sound of a river, take as much as you want, it is inexhaustible
Then he pointed out points that lead to Peace:
1- Strengthening a culture of peace through education /
2- Promoting economic and social development / 3- Promoting respect for all human rights
4- Ensuring equality between men and women / 5- Fostering democratic participation / 6- Developing
understanding, tolerance and solidarity
